This project began out of my love for audio recordings of famous poets. Many times I have sat in my study and listened to my tapes and CDs from Poetry Speaks and have been brought to a place not even music has taken me. A selection from Sylvia Plath, Robert Lowell, or T.S. Eliot reading their work is transcendent and I would like to continue the tradition of such recording in our own literary magazine.

In a growing technological world, it is becoming more important to link multi-media to literature. As part of the Pebble Lake Review Audio Project, we hope to bring together readers and poets in order to increase the love and understanding of poetry and the arts. In each issue, we select poets to read from their poems and bring them to a wide audience (approximately 7,000 PLR online viewers each year).
